Description: A free community arts event that showcased 16 local groups such as bands, choirs, dance troops and performing arts.  The Festival provided a venue for local arts groups to show off their artistic talents and members of the community would be exposed to different artist styles.

What: Varity of arts and crafts activities and performance
Description: This program introduces children to a variety of hands-on quality activities emphasizing all forms of art and cultural. Past activities have included partnerships with:  Tears of Joy Puppet Theatre, Portland Classical Chinese Garden, OMSI, Northwest Children’s Theater, Amazama Circus Arts Team and Portland Parks Environmental Educational Program.

Description:  This free activities goal was to allow members of the community to experience and appreciate the art of paper making.

What: Art Exhibit and Fundraiser
Description: Featured over 50 works of art in a variety of mediums from northwest artist.  The goal of this event was to create awareness of the level of artistry of local community members.  The money raised went to support free concerts and performance in Old Town where people of all ages and economic background can come and enjoy performing arts.

Description: Seeing Money was Portland’s first art event devoted to the theme of money.  It featured work of more than 125 artists from the United State, Canada and Latin America. This event was designed to explore the role of art and money in our culture.

Description: A collaboration of works by composers, librettists, and performers who created and developed new works of music-theater

Description:  The new form of Musical theater features the works of Portland composer/librettist Peter Armetta and other local artists.  This production offered groundbreaking blends of complete music scoring and free improvisation by the performers, which will bring both theater and music to life in a way that area audiences hand likely never experienced before.

Title: Architectural Mural
Date: 1997
What: Mural in Old Town
Description:  The first project was the creation of a large architectural mural to improve the overall looks of the Old Town/China Town district.
